Experience Through Their Eyes

Great pit stop with friendly people and good ol country food. Burgers had a great flavor and the smothered fried cabbage was the hit! Get the biscuit especially if you like sweet cornbread since their cornbread was not the sweet kind. BLT was full of bacon and the fish plate was nice (corn meal batter).

This is a really great place for "Home Cookin'". It's not fancy. It is cafeteria style which means you enter a line, pick up a tray & silverware & select your entree & 2 vegetables from offerings provided on the line. Younger people are unfamiliar w/Piccadilly or Morrison's & many do not care for cafeteria style. This is well-prepared & delicious. They feature different specials daily. They also serve different desserts and they are also awesome. They offer breakfast & lunch & close @ 3:00 p.m. The price for lunch is $7.99 i believe...most fair. I got liver & onions, creamed corn & fried okra & it was wonderful. I hope you have opportunity to visit here. It is very, very good.

Best place for country cooking in Banks Crossing. Breakfast is my favorite! A buttered biscuit and side of bacon...delicious! The biscuits are light and fluffy, by far the best biscuit I've had. Lunch is great too. The okra is spot on!
